There is a lot of competition going on in the gaming zone due to the increasing interest in games with each passing day which urges the companies to play dirty. In June, during Microsoft’s E3 2011 Press Conference, Infinity Ward (developer of Call of Duty) signed an agreement which stated that Modern Warfare 3 downloadable content will be delivered to Xbox 360 owners a month before PS3.
A similar deal took place between Sony and Electronic Arts regarding Battlefield 3, strong competitor of Modern Warfare 3 this season. The relationship between Sony and Electronic Arts is getting stronger with the passage of time and for good reasons. According to this deal, PlayStation 3 will receive Battlefield 3 expansion packs a week before PC and Xbox 360.
But, is the latter a reaction to the former? Well, that’s obviously a question mark.
