Finally, the much anticipated Facebook Timeline feature has surfaced. You would have got messages from FB to commence scrapbooking your life with its newly added Timeline feature. At Facebook annual conference, nearly three months back, the social network first introduced the feature.
Now the feature has gone public and any of its eight hundred million users can activate it just with a few clicks of mouse or tapping of their cell phones. In a recent blog post on its website, the social network has stated that the new feature will be turned on for all the users with an alert that they got on the top of their FB profiles.
The new exciting feature will let the users to scrapbook their real time life. They could arrange the photos, posts and other important milestones of their lives in a series of chronological events. The information on a person’s profile to be provided in two columns: in the right column each month since the joining of the person has been archived that lets others to find out what’s been happening in that person’s life in that period of time.
Previously, Facebook spokespersons have elaborated the idea behind the creation of Timeline. The basic purpose is nothing more than scrapbooking the life events of its users over many years of its use. It was in September this year when Facebook developers started testing Timeline feature and they didn’t make any particular change yet. But it’s not astonishing techies have know enough about their product launch mantra.
